Halo Infinite postponed till 2021 but Xbox Series X coming this November

“Halo” has been one of the most loved games around the world since launched in November 2001. But Microsoft and team at 343 Industries confirmed the postpone of “Halo Infinite” till 2021 which suppose to launch with new Xbox Series X gaming console this year.

Chris Lee, Studio Head at 343 Industries stated, “The decision to shift our release is the result of multiple factors that have contributed to development challenges, including the ongoing COVID-related impacts affecting us all this year”. He added, “I want to acknowledge the hard work from our team at 343 Industries, who have remained committed to making a great game and finding solutions to development challenges. However, it is not sustainable for the well-being of our team or the overall success of the game to ship it this holiday”.

Halo creators haven’t announced any official date for the launch of “Halo Infinite” in the year 2021. But it is predicted to have it in the first quarter of 2021 if the current pandemic situation changes. The team at 343 Industries working hard in the current situation and trying to get it finished as soon as they can do.

“A delayed game is eventually good, but a rushed game is forever bad”, wrote by famous Mario game creator, Shigero Miyamoto. So it is worth to wait for a finished product rather than having buggy gameplay.

Is Xbox Series X coming this November and what will be the price?

Yes, you heard it right. Microsoft confirmed the Xbox Series X launch happens this November whereas they previously announced as “Holiday 2020”. They also like to highlight the Xbox Game Pass with more than 50 new Xbox Series X optimised games launching this year.

The existing games with backward compatibility will also run on Xbox, Xbox 360, Xbox One and Xbox Series X when launched in November 2020.

Microsoft plans to have a competitive price as Sony PlayStation 5 coming this year as well. But they haven’t confirmed the exact price yet for new Xbox Series X gaming console. There is no confirmed date for Series X pre-order but expected to start from the first week of November 2020.
